Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the website located at zensoberliving.org (the “Site”) or any services offered by Zen Sober Living (“ZSL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, submitting a contact or inquiry form, or otherwise engaging with ZSL, you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

1. Nature of Services and No Medical or Legal Advice
ZSL provides a structured, supportive residential living environment for women in recovery from substance use disorders. The information published on this Site is intended for general informational and educational purposes only.
Nothing on this Site constitutes or should be construed as:
- Medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of any kind;
- Mental health counseling, therapy, or clinical services;
- Legal advice of any nature;
- A guarantee of outcomes, sobriety, recovery, or wellness; or
- A substitute for the advice of a licensed physician, psychiatrist, psychologist, therapist, attorney, or other qualified professional.
Always seek the guidance of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition, substance use disorder, mental health concern, or treatment plan. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information you have read on this Site.
2. Emergency Situations
This Site is not equipped to respond to medical or psychiatric emergencies. If you or someone you know is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately. For a substance use or mental health crisis, you may also contact the SAMHSA National Helpline at 1-800-662-4357 (free, confidential, 24/7). ZSL is not responsible for any harm arising from failure to seek appropriate emergency assistance.
3. Eligibility and Admissions
ZSL’s residential services are available exclusively to adult women (18 years of age or older) who are seeking a sober living environment and meet ZSL’s admissions criteria as determined solely at ZSL’s discretion. Submission of an inquiry or contact form through this Site does not constitute an offer, reservation, guarantee of availability, or acceptance into ZSL’s program. All admissions decisions are final and rest entirely with ZSL.
ZSL reserves the right to decline or terminate residency to any individual for any lawful reason, including but not limited to failure to comply with house rules, policies, or program requirements.
4. Accuracy of Information
ZSL makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the information on this Site is current and accurate. However, ZSL makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of any information, services, or related content on the Site. Information is subject to change without notice. You acknowledge that any reliance on such information is strictly at your own risk.

ZSL is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who contact us, particularly given the sensitive nature of substance use recovery. 12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or your use of this Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Collier County, Florida, and you hereby irrevocably consent to such jurisdiction and venue.
Before initiating any legal action, you agree to provide ZSL with written notice of the dispute and a reasonable opportunity (not less than thirty (30) days) to resolve the matter informally.
13. Compliance with HIPAA and Florida Law
To the extent ZSL collects protected health information (“PHI”) as defined under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”) and the Florida Confidentiality of Substance Abuse Treatment Records Act (§397.501, Florida Statutes), ZSL handles such information in accordance with applicable federal and state law. Substance abuse treatment records are afforded heightened protections under both federal (42 C.F.R. Part 2) and Florida law and will not be disclosed without appropriate authorization except as required by law.
